Queensland Government Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) ICTSS 18.04

The Queensland Government preselects suppliers for their Eligible Customers to buy from an existing arrangement for simpler, faster and more cost-effective procurement. In early 2019 NewBase has successfully tendered for being on the Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) ICTSS 18.04 ‘Whole of Government’ panel.

Being preselected means the costs of performing tender process can be avoided for potential government entities. The high level, key objectives of the Information Technology Management as-a-Service (ITMaaS) is to establish a pre-qualified panel arrangement for the provision of ITMaaS with capable service provider/s that are able to provide cost effective and high quality IT Management as-a-Service across all Service Categories.

This SOA is applicable to all Qld Government entities up to 2,000 Full Time Employees (FTE) with larger Government agencies utilising generational use applications utilizing the more expensive Public Cloud Vendors.

The ICT Service Categories available under the ITMaaS arrangement include:

  • End User Compute;
  • Network Management;
  • IaaS, PaaS and Cloud Services;
  • Application Development and SaaS;
  • Printing and Imaging

ITMaaS eligible customers are expected to receive the following Cross Functional Disciplines:

  • IT Service Management ISO 20000 & ITIL v3
  • ICT Service Desk including Onsite Support; and
  • ICT Security Management Practices conforming to ISO27001.

The Cross Functional Disciplines are applicable to all of the ICT Service Categories, to provide end users with seamless end-to-end services. Suitable Government departments & Government related organizations are able to select service providers from this ICTSS 18.04 panel without going through a tender or three quote process.  The SOA is also open to ‘Not for Profit’ organisations.

Hardware and Software for Eligible Customers and Staff

With the ever increasing demand by staff to bring their own devices (BYOD), NewBase can procure IT equipment and licensing as an authorized reseller of Tier 1 with hardware and software vendors.  We provide services to assist with the installation of new hardware and software packages, create and remove users, setup and test of backups and restores, check security systems and software updates available, via remote and onsite support, all available service are listed in our Service Management Catalogue. We are also authorized resellers of discounted software licensing for Government agencies and ‘Not for Profit’ organisations.
